September is a wonderful month on the East Side of Cayuga lake.  The water is typically warm.  The sunsets are longer and more colorful than summer, pinks, purples and orange are vibrant.  The smells in the air changes.  The nights get cooler which is excellent for sleeping.  The vacationers have all gone home.  The fisher folks are still out early.
